So we've got this cool project on DonorsChoose that's about to expire: Fill an Empty Bowl with a Cup of Love - students are going to make clay bowls to donate to a local food bank's Empty Bowls luncheon (people pay $10 for a simple lunch and the money goes towards funding Thanksgiving meals provided by the foodbank while the donors get to keep the bowls). Insert "Yo dawg, we heard you like giving, so we put a charity in your charity so you can give while you give" macro here.

Author’s Note: So this started out as a semi-dare from novelized to see if I could write a good Lamkey drabble in return for a charity donation. Five drabbles for five dollars was what we agreed on. It snowballed. Now a bunch of people have promised to donate if I pull it off. You get Lamkey, kids get school supplies, and we all win. Yay! Also, miss_bennie makes all things possible.

Hiiii kids. So you may remember that I organized a charity effort for DonorsChoose a little while ago? Well, now I’m doing it again, but on a larger scale. ontd_ai is participating in a fan challenge for Adam Lambert’s official website with DonorsChoose. If you want to help us out, please go on over to our Giving Page and pick a project that you like, then donate as much as you think you can afford – donations as little as $1 are accepted. All are music & arts projects. So far ontd_ai has raised $5,047 since Thursday, and the challenge overall has raised, $21,918, which is pretty amazing.

Also, whoever thought of pitting fan groups against each other for charity is an evil GENIUS and should work for the government.
